Aspiring Generations Foundation Inc was founded in 2013 by Charlene B. Peppers. She understands and knows firsthand how it feels to be without. She came from an impoverished family and became a single mother of two children while being a caretaker of her mother for 20 years. She knows the meaning and the importance of "It takes a village," and as Marian Wright Edelman said, "You can't be what you don't see ."
After losing her mother and experiencing and seeing the challenges of her children, she decided to create change by developing Aspiring Generations Foundation Inc to represent a safe community for boys and girls. To amplify strong, intelligent, independent, and empowering leaders for generations to come.
Charlene started her efforts by partnering with a community food bank to feed youth throughout the summer through a Summer Feeding Program at the apartment complex she lived. Along with supplying back-to-school supplies for the community youth.
